Liam’s family is from California.  He got his cat Tiki when he was about 13 years old. He enjoys the friendship and personality of Tiki.  He was born with Down Syndrome and a hole in his heart which has since closed.

As a young child Liam had nicknames like Lima Bean or Rerun because he would watch VHS video’s over and over again.  He always liked the movie “Finding Nemo” and the phrase “Just keep swimming!”  He also enjoys basketball with his hero being Micheal Jordan. Other sports he participates in are bowling, track, soccer. He evens golf with his father and friends too.

At age 7 was his first time swimming.  He began competitive swimming at age 14 yo.  It took Liam 4 years to win the state championship in the 50yard sprint.  Now he competes in the 500yard swim and preparing for the 1500yard swim.  He has swam in a race in open water 1 mile swim in a lake. He helped a triathlon team at a local trifest triathlon by doing the swimming leg, they took 2nd and 3rd place the past 2 years.  He has earned over 68 metals for swimming up to this point. He loves swimming so much he would do it everyday if he could.  His hero in swimming is Micheal Phelps the Olympic multi-medal champion.
